Like our other Premium Guillotines, the revolutionary safety guard rotates around the blade, keeping fingers and arms out of harm's way. Blade is ground from the highest quality, German, Solingen steel that can easily handle paper, card stock, and mat board. Blade sharpens itself with each pass, maintaining a perfectly honed edge. Because this model can cut up to 40 sheets, it also features a ratchet-locking, manual paper clamp that provides even pressure to your materials, keeping them in place to prevent fanning. The innovative spring system holds the blade at any angle, and prevents it from flying up or falling down accidentally. For extremely precise projects, 81632 includes a Laser Guide that precisely illuminates the entire cutting line. This model can handle up to 40 sheets of paper, up to 14 1/8" wide. Sturdy metal base provides stablilty, and features preprinted guide lines for convenience, easy-adjust paper stop and slide-out stop for consistent cutting, and formed handles for safe transporting.
